Fire Chief:  Kevin Haney

Chief Haney began his fire service career first a volunteer for the City of Loganville, then continuing as a career firefighter for Walton County in 1993. He rose through the ranks over his tenure becoming Assistant Chief in November of 2012, then appointed as Fire Chief of Walton County Fire Rescue in February 2019.  A native of Walton County, Chief Haney is a graduate of Loganville High School in 1990. He and his wife Donna have 2 children: Justin and Ryan.

Assistant Fire Chief:  Craig League

Chief League has worked for Walton County since April of 1991. He has served in several roles including dispatcher and jailer at the Walton County Sheriff’s Office. After transferring to Walton County Fire Rescue, he worked his way through the chain of command serving as a Firefighter, Lieutenant, Captain, Battalion Chief and was named Assistant Chief in March 2019.

Chief League is a lifelong resident of Walton County and attended Abraham Baldwin College from 1989 through 1991. His family includes his wife Christy, daughters Kimberly and Tori, and grandsons Mason and Jackson.
